RECIPE OF CARROT HALWA

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Carrot 2 cups
Nuts and Raisins 1/4 cup
Milk 2 cups
Ghee 2 tbsp
Sugar 1 cup
Cardamom 2

Method For Preparing Carrot Halwa

  • 1.
  • Wash, peel and grind the carrots.

  • 2.
  • Heat the ghee and fry nuts and raisins in it.

  • 3.
  • Heat milk in another pan and add carrot to it.

  • 4.
  • Cover and cook it on a medium flame. Stir well.

  • 5.
  • Add sugar to it when all the milk is absorbed by the carrot and stir well.

  • 6.
  • After few minutes when the oil gets separated from halwa, add cardamom powder, fried nuts and 1 tbsp ghee to it.

  • 7.
  • Mix well and remove from fire.
