RECIPE OF CASHEW NUT COOKIES

Flour 125 gm
Baking powder 1/2 tsp
Ground cashew nuts 50 gm
Castor sugar 70 gm
Egg yolk 1
Vanilla essence 1/4 tsp
Milk 3 tbsp
Butter 100 gm

Method For Preparing Cashew Nut Cookies

  • 1.
  • Cream the butter and add castor sugar in a bowl and beat until light and fluffy.

  • 2.
  • Add the egg yolk, vanilla essence, ground cashew nuts and milk. Knead the dough lightly and chill for half an hour.

  • 3.
  • Grease the baking sheet and roll out the dough on a floured surface.

  • 4.
  • Cut out the cookies with a cookie cutter.

  • 5.
  • Place slightly apart in a baking sheet and place a small piece of cashew nut on top of it. Refrigerate for 25-30 minutes.

  • 6.
  • Preheat the oven to 160^0 C. Bake the cookies 20-25 minutes until light brown. Cool in a wire track.
