Method For Preparing Chicken Cutlet

  • 1.
  • To prepare the outer covering, add chat masala, salt and chilli powder to mashed potatoes. Mix well and keep aside. Heat oil in a pan. Add jeera.

  • When jeera turns golden, add chopped onion. Saute for one minute.

  • 3.
  • Add minced chicken. Stir-fry for 1 minute. Cook the chicken till tender under low heat.

  • 4.
  • Add ginger, garlic, crushed red chillies, chopped green chillies, salt, coriander powder, garam masala, chopped mint and lemon juice. Mix well and remove from heat and allow to cool.

  • 5.
  • Make ten balls of mashed potatoes. Flatten each ball on the palm of your hand. Put 1 tbsp of filling in it. Wrap the potato mixture around the filling.

  • 6.
  • Latten to make a cutlet. Similarly make 10 cutlets. Heat oil in a pan. Spread breadcrumbs in a plate.

  • 7.
  • Beat one egg. Dip each cutlet in the beaten egg, roll in breadcrumbs and shallow fry on both sides till golden.

  • 8.
  • Drain and garnish with mint leaves and onion rings.
