RECIPE OF FRIED PRAWNS

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Prawns cleaned and de-veined 1/2 kg
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder 1 tbsp
Soya sauce 1 tsp
Salt To taste
Pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Onion sliced 1
Lime 1

Method For Preparing Fried Prawns

  • 1.
  • Cook the prawns with chilli powder, turmeric powder, soya sauce, salt and little water for 5 minutes till all the water evaporates.

  • 2.
  • Keep aside. Heat 2 tbsp oil, add sliced onion, fry for a minute, stirring well till light brown.

  • 3.
  • Add the cooked prawns frying until golden brown, sprinkle pepper powder and squeeze lime juice, stir well and remove from fire.

  • 4.
  • Goes well as a side dish with rice.
