RECIPE OF GHEE RICE
Method For Preparing Ghee Rice
Wash and soak rice in water for 15 minutes. Drain it well.
Slice the onions into fine pieces.
Add 3 tbsp of ghee into a frying vessel. Fry the onions, raisins and cashew separately and keep aside.
In another vessel, heat 1/4 cup of ghee, add cinnamon, cardamom and cloves into it and stir well.
Now add the rice into it and stir for few minutes.
Now add 7 cup of hot water and salt into it. Cook it covered until the water is absorbed by the rice.
Remove from fire and keep it closed for another 10 minutes.
Garnish with fried onions, cashews and raisins and serve hot.
