RECIPE OF KOZHUKATTA
Method For Preparing Kozhukatta
Melt the jaggery in some water and mix well. Add coconut into it and mix again.
Now add some ghee and cook till water is dried up. Add the cardamom into it and remove from fire. Keep aside.
Boil some water with salt. Pour the water to the rice flour slowly and mix with a wooden spoon. Keep aside for some time.
Knead the dough and make it into small balls. Press the ball using your hands to make it thin.
Now Start folding it inwards in such a way that you get a cup shape. Place some fillings in between and roll it back to the ball shape.
Steam the kozhukattas for some minutes in a steamer. Serve hot.
