RECIPE OF MASALA DOSA

Dosa batter As Required
Potatoes 3
Onion 1
Green chilies 4
Chana dal 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Oil As Required
Mustard seeds 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves Few
Green Peas 1/4 cup
Coriander leaves Handful

Method For Preparing Masala Dosa

  • 1.
  • Boil the potatoes and mash them.

  • 2.
  • Heat little oil, temper the chana dal and mustard seeds.

  • 3.
  • Add sliced onion, curry leaves and green chillies. Saute it until the onion is transparent.

  • 4.
  • Add 1/2 cup of water, salt and turmeric to it. Allow it to boil.

  • 5.
  • Add the potatoes and green peas to the mixture. Cook it for 2 minutes. Sprinkle some coriander leaves on top. Keep aside.

  • 6.
  • Pour a spoonful of batter on a hot dosa griddle. Spread it. Add few drops of oil on top.

  • 7.
  • Cook both sides. Once the dosa is cooked completely, add the masala mixture in the center. Cover the dosa.

  • 8.
  • Serve it with sambar or chutney.
