Method For Preparing Mawa Cake

  • 1.
  • Take a round pan and grease with butter. Put some flour on it and shake it well, so that the flour spreads well.

  • Preheat the oven to 180 celsius.

  • 3.
  • Line the pan with butter paper. Grease the paper with some butter.

  • 4.
  • Crumble the mawa and keep inside. Mix butter and sugar till light and fluffy. Add the mawa into it and mix well.

  • Then add the flour mixed with baking soda and baking powder directly into the cake mixture.

  • 6.
  • Sprinkle some cardamom powder and pour some milk and cream. Fold it till all of these are mixes well in the cake batter.

  • 7.
  • Transfer the cake batter into the pan and place the pan in the preheat oven and bake for about 2 hours.

  • 8.
  • Bake it till a tooth pick inserted in the cake comes clean. Remove from oven and allow it to cool down for some time.

  • 9.
  • Slice it into desired shapes and serve.
