RECIPE OF NUT PULAO

Basmati rice 1 cup
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp
Garlic clove crushed 2
Onion chopped 1
Carrot grated 1/2 cup
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Coriander powder 2 tsp
Cardamom 4
Vegetable stock 2 cup
Cashew nuts 1 cup
Salt To taste
Pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves chopped 1 tbsp

Method For Preparing Nut Pulao

  • 1.
  • Clean, wash and soak the rice in water for 15 minutes and drain.

  • 2.
  • Heat oil and fry onions, garlic and carrot for 5 minutes.

  • 3.
  • Add the drained rice and fry for 3 minutes.

  • 4.
  • Pour the vegetable stock, stirring and cook in a low flame for 10 minutes.

  • 5.
  • Add salt to taste. Stir in the cashew nuts.

  • 6.
  • Serve with fresh chopped coriander leaves on top.
