RECIPE OF SEMIYA PAYASAM

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Vermicelli/semiya 100 gm
Milk 3 cups
Cashew nut 12
Water 1 cup
Ghee 2 tsp
Cardamom 4
Raisins 8
Sugar To Taste

Method For Preparing Paal Payasam

  • 1.
  • Fry the nuts and raisins in ghee.Keep aside. Also fry the vermicelli till it becomes golden brown. Keep aside.

  • 2.
  • Boil the milk in a pan along with some water. Add some cardamom and sugar into it and stir well.

  • 3.
  • Now add the vermicelli into it and stir well. Boil till the vermicelli is cooked. Remove from fire.

  • 4.
  • Garnish with raisins and nuts. Serve as hot or Cold.
