RECIPE OF TANDOORI ROTI

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Wheat flour 3 cups
Salt 1 tsp
Water 1 cup
Ghee 2-3 tbsp

Method For Preparing Tandoori Roti

  • 1.
  • Sift the flour and salt together. Add water to get a soft, pliable dough.

  • 2.
  • Knead on a lightly floured surface for 5 minutes until smooth. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a wet cloth and leave it for one hour.

  • 3.
  • Tip out the dough on to a lightly floured surface. Divide the dough into 6 portions and shape each into a ball, press out larger round with the palm of your hand.

  • 4.
  • Cover with a lightly oiled clear film and leave to rest for about 10 minutes. Preheat the oven to 200^0 C.

  • 5.
  • Roll out the rolls into 6 inch rounds and bake for about 8 minutes. Brush with melted ghee.
