RECIPE OF UNNAKAYA
Method For Preparing Unnakaya
Heat ghee in a pan and add cashew nuts into it. Fry until it becomes golden colour.
Now add the grated coconut and saute again. Also add some sugar and cardamom powder and keep aside.
Steam the plantain until it gets soft. Then allow it to cool for few minutes. Mash it.
Dip your hands in ghee and take some plantain on your hand and flatten it using your fingers.
Place some coconut filling in the middle and seal the edges. Make it into a cylindrical shape.
Fry the stuffed plantain in a pan till all the sides become golden brown. Serve hot
