Method For Preparing Vegetable Cutlet

  • 1.
  • Boil potatoes, peel and mash it. Grate carrots and shell the cooked peas.

  • 2.
  • Take these vegetables in a bowl and mix with green chillies chopped, coriander leaves, garam masala, cumin seed powder, pepper powder and salt to taste.

  • 3.
  • Form into cutlets of desired shape. Make maida paste in another bowl.

  • 4.
  • Dip each cutlet into the maida paste and roll in breadcrumbs.

  • 5.
  • Heat oil in a pan to near smoking point, deep fry the cutlets to a golden brown colour.

  • 6.
  • Drain on kitchen napkin paper. Serve with mint or coriander chutney or tomato sauce.
